Mold Testing
We test for mold with air samples and/or direct surface samples, so you have the information you need to properly understand the condition of your indoor environment. Air sampling is recommended when mold is visible or suspected. It provides us specific data regarding the mold species and spore count in the air. Direct surface sampling can be helpful to determine what species of mold is growing on a specific surface.

Radon Testing
A radon inspection is a simple procedure where a radon detector will be set-up in your home or business, where it will take hourly readings. This radon detector will typical run for about 48 hours for a short term test. Please note that the radon testing area site must not be disturbed during the test. We will provide the customer with a report of the average reading over a 48 hour period and indicate if there are any elevated radon levels detected. If there is a radon issue, a certified contractor will need to be contacted to mitigate the situation.

About Us
-
My name is Bill Weaver. I am the owner and operator of Mold Moisture Radon Testing and Inspection. I am a Certified Mold Inspector with over 10 years’ experience in the industry. I started my career in Indoor Air Quality as the owner of a company that did mold remediation, mold testing/inspection, water damage mitigation, moisture inspections, crawlspace solutions, odor elimination, and HVAC air duct cleaning and coil cleaning. Since then, I have chosen to focus on mold testing and inspections, moisture inspections, and radon testing. In addition to my industry experience, I hold a number of certifications in mold and related areas:
• Certified Mold Inspector
• Certified Mold Remediation Contractor
• Certified Water Damage Restoration Technician
• Certified Encapsulation Specialist
• Certified Air Duct Cleaner
• Certified for Lead Renovation, Repair, and Painting
• OSHA Certified
It is very important you do not have the same company that does the mold remediation also do the mold testing because they have a conflict of interest. Would you want the fox watching the hen house? As an independent testing company, I have no vested interest in whether an appointment passes or fails a mold inspection/test or a radon test. With over a decade of experience in the industry, I have the expertise to know where mold hides, and I pride myself on being thorough and clearly explaining the results to the customer.
Why should you be concerned about mold? Every person has a different level of sensitivity to mold. Although one person may have no symptoms, another person may have severe symptoms. Immunocompromised people, asthmatics, infants, and elderly people all have a higher probability of having an adverse reaction to mold.
